Rachel O’Laughlin’s Knights of Rilch Give-Away

What’s this? A post on a Tuesday?? Surprise! See, I’m always happy to help spread the word about a fellow author’s work. Especially if I enjoy their writing. If you missed how much I enjoyed Knights of Rilch, second book in the Serengard Series by Rachel O’Laughlin, you can check out my review over on There & Draft Again.

Anywho, Rachel is hosting a Rafflecopter Give-Away, leading up to the official release on February 25. One of my favorite characters in Knights of Rilch was Ric, mainly because I could never quite get a read on him. He seemed honorable, almost a good guy, yet sometimes…so when Rachel told me she was doing character trading cards, I think I yelled really loud that I would host Ric’s.

Here’s what you need to know about the trading cards:

  • 100 limited edition cards of each character printed
  • artwork front, stats on the back (stats contain spoilers!)
  • watch for more Trading Cards giveaways during the Knights of Rilch release week
If you want to see Rachel’s original post, check out the Trading Card Reveal Post on her blog.

Here’s the blurb in case you haven’t seen it elsewhere — truly an awesome, sweeping, fantasy read:

Nearly a decade ago…
When Serengard rebelled and the Orion monarchy fell, former crown princess Kierstaz Orion’s love for her people became a burning desire to set things right. With a price on their heads, Kierstaz and her brother Mikel led a handful of men against the new army, fighting skirmishes all along the border of Dreibourge. But months of heavy bloodshed forced her small band of knights to abandon the border—and all of Serengard—to the rebels.

Nine years and a thousand betrayals later…
Kierstaz and Mikel again find themselves on the run—only this time, they’ve a boy in tow: Malcom, the son of two of the Seren rebellion’s strongest leaders. The new regime wants him dead, Mikel wants him alive, and it’s all Kierstaz can do to keep their tracks covered. Desperate to preserve the innocent life she swore to protect and the brother who has always stood by her, Kierstaz must gamble the last thing in the world she owns: her identity. Secrets are a staple of the Orion family, and those Kierstaz keeps are as dangerous as the ones kept from her.

  1. So many great books to read and so little time. This maybe be a cliché but it says exactly what’s on my mind. 🙂
