Happy Holidays from the ROW80 Camp

First I want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season. No matter how you choose to celebrate, or what your beliefs, have fun, be safe, enjoy time with friends and family, feast until you can’t move, drink what suits you, laugh, love, and remember that each day is a gift.

Moving on…I realize a great many of my ROW80 updates have been bemoaning the slow progress I seem to be making on Book Three of my Darkness & Light Series. Last week I looked at this graphic on my Writeometer ap… 2014-12-16-07-35-18-1Wow. When you put it that way…

Anyhow, I’ve entered the beginning of the end and still have high hopes for completion by the end of the year — even with the holidays in there. So next year you’ll get to read me going on about the editing of it, and the release, and all that fun stuff. The next writing project on my plate is Roe and Fader’s tale in the (tentatively titled) The Adorned. If you haven’t met Roe and Fader yet, check out my WIPpet Wednesday posts over the last few months–they seem to be well liked. Then there will be the decision on what to do with Driev. That is coming soon. Wow! That could mean potentially three books released next year. *gulp*

Whoa! Schwengel, what the heck?!!? That’s crazy talk, that’s what that is.

*breathes into paper bag*

I think I’m getting ahead of myself. Oh yeah…way ahead.

I haven’t written much on Edge of Darkness since last Wednesday, but I have been plot noodling (yes, thank you subconscious, for making it impossible to fall asleep and then waking me at 3:00 a.m. with more pesterings), and fully intend to get lots of words down tomorrow and Tuesday. (Even though tomorrow will be partially taken up by errands and gatherings.)

  1. Three books in one year — that’s a fantastic goal! But you can do it; I have no doubts.

  2. If I can publish 2 books next year, you can definitely handle three. 🙂

    • Exciting. Isn’t that just another word for batshit crazy?

  6. I don’t think three books in one year is too crazy. If you said seven, yeah, I’d think that was nuts, but I think you can manage three. And I definitely look forward to more of Roe and Fader’s story in the coming year.

    Happy holidays!

    • If I said seven I’d have to hire someone to write them for me!! 😉

I’m glad you’re enjoying Roe and Fader.
